|Feedback||Hello, it was a pleasure to meet today! is a very intelligent and motivated student! In this lesson, practiced writing skills by completing several activities and reviewing a draft of a poem! First, practiced building skills by using literary devices to make the poem more pleasant, lively, and interesting for readers. also learned to use rhyming words (words that have the same sound), and sound words (words that spell out a noise), and alliteration (words that start with the same sound and are close together) to give a poem a pleasant sound as well. reviewed sentence patterns when describing things to do on public transportation using formulas like: “verb + object.” For example, “Ring the bell.” also learned the language pattern for comparing one thing to another using a simile: “subject + verb + like + noun.” For example, “The train moves like lightning.” did a wonderful job with these sentence structures. Finally, we revised paper and looked for features such as: title, sound words, alliteration, rhyming words, and stanza. We also went over different edits and revisions for capitalization, punctuation, spelling, and grammar. did an excellent job with writing, and will continue to get better each time practices writing. Unfortunately, was unable to upload writing, so we were unable to review it together. The instructions on how to do this are in “Student’s Learning Guidance”. Because did not have work, and I worked together to revise a sample writing piece. At home, can continue to practice finding errors in capitalization, punctuation, spelling, and grammar in the example piece for a poem.
